Ridgeview Sibley Medical Center hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, Aug. 29 for its Emergency Department and Urgent Care addition and renovation project. This project will bring significant improvements to the facility, demonstrating Ridgeview’s commitment to enhance patient care in Sibley County.

Key features of the project include: adding four private patient rooms in the Emergency Department, adding a triage room with two designated Urgent Care rooms, new laboratory and pharmacy space, and a new patient waiting room. The focus of all enhancements to the facility were driven by the desire to offer a seamless Ridgeview experience focusing on quality care, patient safety and privacy for patients and families.

Construction of the renovation project will begin early September and is scheduled for completion in October 2018.
