Sleep studies are done at Sibley Medical Center to diagnose sleep disorders.  Patients are admitted to an inpatient room and equipment is placed on the patient to monitor their level of sleep.  Patients are checked by nursing every hour and a recording of the sleep activity is obtained for diagnosing any disorders.  In the morning the study is completed with the information being forwarded to the physician for interpretation.
