Education: A 1991 graduate of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India.

Residency: Completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Illinois, Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Kumar completed a fellowship in Hematology / Oncology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee.

Certification: Internal Medicine / Oncology.

Member: A member of the American Society of clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.

Professional Interests: Dr. Kumar has experience in all areas of cancer care and hematology, with special interest in the treatment of various malignancies.

Family/Personal Interests: Dr. Kumar worked at Sibley Medical Center & Clinics as an Internal Medicine physician prior to completing his oncology / hematology fellowship. He lives in Arlington with his wife and family and enjoys spending his free time with them and traveling.
