Family Practice

Education: BS from St. Olaf College and MS from University of Colorado.

Why did you become a physician? As a child I spent some time in South America and saw how much lack of good healthcare can impact people's lives. At that point I knew that I wanted to contribute to helping people maintain good health and intervening when things went wrong. Nursing and the eventual nurse practioner role emphasized patient education and health maintenance, yet allowed for interventions for problems as well.

Family/Personal Interests: I enjoy reading, playing cards(pinochle), doing crafts, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.
