Education:

Philip received his training at MEDEX Northwest, University of Washington School of Medicine, in Seattle, Washington.  He has a B.A. in Economics from Sonoma State University and an M.A. in Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach.  He also received a Bachelor of Clinical Health Services, Physician Assistant, from the University of Washington School of Medicine. He is a Certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants.

Employment History:

Phil worked as a Firefighter and Paramedic for 18 years in California before continuing his education to become a Physician Assistant. Most recently, he has worked in Orthopedic Surgery and has now come to Sibley Medical Center to resume his focus in Emergency Medicine.

Family/Personal Interest:

Phil and his wife, Jenny, have 2 sons and twin daughters. He enjoys mountain climbing, SCUBA diving, traveling and spending time with his family.
